OnPoint Community Credit Union’s Marketing Wins Awards
June 21, 2007
PORTLAND—OnPoint Community Credit Union has been recognized with three awards from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions.
Mary Jane Campbell, senior vice president/marketing & consumer products, said OnPoint won the following:
- OnPoint logo—silver
- Image enhancement—bronze
- Outdoor alternative media—bronze
OnPoint's marketing agency, Weber Marketing Group of Seattle, created the new logo, in-branch merchandising and outdoor, transit, print and broadcast advertising under Campbell’s direction.
OnPoint initiated the new campaign—the largest in its 75-year history—when its name was changed from Portland Teachers Credit Union to accommodate a wider field of membership after a change to a community charter in 2006.
OnPoint Community Credit Union is the largest credit union in Oregon, serving more than 182,000 members and with assets of $2.3 billion. Founded in 1932, OnPoint Community Credit Union’s field of membership includes everyone who lives or works in 10 designated Oregon counties (Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington and Yamhill).
