Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are check images available when the check is deposited through the Mobile Deposit feature?

    Yes, check images will be available just like they are when you deposit a check via an ATM or branch.

  • When I deposit a check through Mobile Deposit how soon are the funds available?

    Funds deposited through Mobile Deposit will be available within three business days.

  • What devices are compatible with the app?

    OnPoint’s Mobile Banking app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

  • Where do I download the app?

    OnPoint’s Mobile Banking app can be found in the iTunes app store for Apple devices and Google Play for Android devices. Simply search for OnPoint Mobile Banking.

  • Can I use Mobile Banking if I don’t use Online Banking?

    You must be enrolled in Online Banking to use Mobile Banking.

  • How does Mobile Deposit work?

    This feature is only available through our Mobile Banking apps (iPhone, iPad3 or greater, and Android). First, select the deposit tab and then new deposit. Next, enter the account you wish to deposit the funds into and the amount of the check. Click continue and you will be prompted to take photos of the front and back of your check. The final step is to confirm your deposit. Once you select deposit, it will start processing.

    In the deposit history tab you will see a list of all check deposits made through this feature. A green check indicates that the deposit was made successfully. An orange clock indicates that the check is still being processed and a red x indicates that the check was not deposited. 

    Follow these tips when using Mobile Deposit:

    • Place the check on a contrasting background. For example, if your check is white place the check on a dark surface.
    • Make sure you have good, bright lighting and there are no shadows on the check.
    • Hold your phone as steady as possible to capture a clear, crisp image of the check.
    • Do not place the camera too close or too far away when taking a picture of the check. Pictures need to include the entire front and back of the check.

1 You may use your ATM Card or Visa Debit Card free of any fees when you use an OnPoint ATM, or one connected to the MoneyPass or CO-OP Networks. If you use an ATM operated by any other institution or network, you may be charged a fee by that entity and OnPoint Community Credit Union.

2 Bill Payment is free with Interest Checking, eChecking (eStatements required to avoid all applicable fees and service charges), or $3.95 per month (waived for the first 3 months). The Bill Payment fee is included in the monthly service fee for Access Account.
