Credit Card FAQs
Simply log into Digital Banking and select Services from the main menu. Then select Travel Notifications, choose the cards you'll be traveling with and provide your travel dates and destinations.
We'll note this information to ensure uninterrupted usage of your OnPoint Visa Credit and Debit cards while you are away.
If you have an existing OnPoint Visa Gift Card, it may still be used. You can register and activate your card at https://thegiftcardmanager.com/. Once the card is activated, you can also visit this link to see your current balance.
- Log into Digital Banking
- Select your OnPoint credit card from the Account Summary page.
- Select the Details & Settings heading.
- Select Click here to visit below "Payment Options and Loan Info."
- Then, click the Rewards button on the right side of the credit card Account Home page to register your card and redeem your points. Note: If you're already registered, your Available Point Balance will display after clicking the Rewards button.
- Click the CU Rewards logo to redeem your points for airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars, cash or merchandise.
- Log into Digital Banking.
- Select Apply for a Loan from the main menu and choose Other Consumer Loan.
- If you have multiple memberships, select the membership that includes your credit card.
- Select Apply for a Credit Card.
- Once in the application, be sure to choose Credit Limit Increase as the general purpose of the application.
You can also freeze your OnPoint credit card. Log into Digital Banking or the OnPoint Mobile app and select the "More" button on the right-hand side to access the Credit Card Management tool and freeze your credit card.

If your Visa Debit Card or ATM Card has been lost or stolen, please notify OnPoint immediately! Call us at 503.228.7077 or 800.527.3932 (M-F 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sat. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

The three-digit security code can be found on the back of your debit card to the right of your signature. If the three-digit code is no longer legible, please visit an OnPoint branch or contact us to order a replacement card.
Within Digital Banking you can make a one-time payment or set up a recurring payment.
- Log into Digital Banking.
- Click on your credit card listed on the Home screen (Account Summary).
- Select the Details & Settings tab and click the link under Payment Options and Loan Info
- Next, click the Make a Payment link to select payment parameters.
- Select Payments & Transfers from the main menu.
- Select Account Transfer
- Complete the requested fields including the "From Account" (typically your checking account), the "To Account" (your credit card), the Payment Amount, the Frequency and the Transfer Date.
Charges for ATM use in a foreign country may vary based on the ATM provider. Click here to view potential ATM or foreign transaction fees.
Notify us of your travel plans!
If you plan to use your OnPoint credit and debit cards while traveling, notify OnPoint before you go:
- Log in to Digital Banking
- Select Services from the main menu
- Select Travel Notifications
- Choose the cards you'll be traveling with and provide your travel dates and destinations
- OnPoint Mobile App(https://www.onpointcu.com/#headerlogin>Log into Digital Banking or the <a href=).
- Select your OnPoint Credit Card account tile.
- Select the Details & Settings heading, then select click here to visit under "Payment Options and Loan Info."
- From the OnPoint Credit Card account home page, select Visa Purchase Alerts on the right under "Quick Links."
- On the Visa Purchase Alerts page, select Check Eligibility and enter the requested information, starting with the first 9 digits of your OnPoint Credit Card.
- Follow the remaining prompts and toggle the alerts you would like to enable.
How does it work? Visa Purchase Alerts help keep your account secure by sending you an email or text in real-time when a transaction takes place. The alert immediately identifies potentially fraudulent transactions. You can set alerts for transactions over a specific amount, transactions made online or by phone when your card is being used outside the U.S. and more!
