El Grito

Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM), from September 15 to October 15, celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose families come from Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. At OnPoint, people are the point; that is exactly why we celebrate the many diverse individuals that make up our thriving community. One way we do that is by being a proud sponsor of this year’s El Grito Portland event.
This year’s El Grito event is being held Friday, September 15, from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm, through Saturday, September 16, from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm, at the Rose Quarter Commons in Portland. The entrance is completely free. The two-day event will host a variety of culturally-specific colorful, and energetic performances and acknowledgments such as baile folklórico and mariachi. This year, health screenings, vaccine drives, legal workshops, small business consulting resources and more will be provided to all who attend.
