About Our Team
Why We Love It Here
How We Unwind
I am your advocate. Taking the time to listen and understand your needs, my goal is to educate, empower and advise you to make the best possible financial decisions.
Having grown up in Lithuania, I learned early on that communication is key. By taking the time to truly listen to people and uncover their goals, I strive to build a foundation of common understanding to ensure we are working as a team. With more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, I have a unique perspective on financial fitness. Every person’s situation deserves to be evaluated independently and whether you are looking to buy your first home or leverage equity for a business opportunity, my aim is to help you realize that goal.
Giving back to the community is what sets us apart—I dedicate my personal time by serving as a treasurer of a local non-profit board, traveling and spending time with my family.
Donald "DJ" Kerr III, CFP®
Helping people align their finances with their story is my passion. Think of me as a guide who will help you make wise financial decisions based on your vision and values.
As a financial guide, I help families concerned about financial sustainability craft an investment roadmap to help navigate financial storms. This allows families to focus on ‘Return on Life’ while we focus on ‘Return on Investment’. Our team accomplishes this task by understanding your personal story, providing investment education, and creating a commonsense investment plan by investing in sustainable companies. We start by helping families answer the following questions: How much is enough? Do I have enough? What do I do next?
I am also passionate about helping you align your investment decisions with your core beliefs so you are confident that your investments not only support your goals, but industries and causes that are dear to you.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) practitioner insuring that your best interests are always put first. Additionally, I hold securities licenses Series 7, Series 66, and an Oregon Resident Life and Health Insurance license.
When I’m not at the office, my family and I love spending time in the great outdoors of central Oregon. We are active in our four children’s sports teams and enjoy the great fellowship of our church community.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design), and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
To best help my members, I live by the philosophy: place yourself in others’ shoes.
With 16 years of banking experience, 10 in retail baking and over six in business lending roles, my diverse industry background grants me the ability to take a holistic approach when working with our business members. I thrive on working with others to solve problems and greatly enjoy working with organizations who contribute to the fabric of our local community!
I was born and raised in Minnesota or as the locals call it—the North Star state. Without question, growing up in Minnesota has made me the person I am today. During my time in Oregon, I had a radio show on KSLC at Linfield University before streaming radio widely existed. Now, I love living in Central Oregon with immediate access to live music, camping, boating, rafting and some of the best nighttime stargazing skies in all of the USA! When I’m not enjoying any Oregon scenic viewpoint, you can find me volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, United Way, and most recently, OnPoint’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion council.
