What motivates us
I enjoy being a trusted advisor and guide, and I’m determined to help members find a loan that best fits their financial future.
As your Mortgage Loan Officer, it is my responsibility to provide confidence and support through the lending process. Whether you are new to the home buying and refinance process, or experienced, I’ll be available and responsive so you can feel confident with your outcome and decisions. In every meeting my goal is to build long lasting relationships and provide exceptional experiences. I thrive on understanding what’s personally important to members, and becoming a trusted advisor through their home loan journey and beyond.
Having worked in the financial industry since 2002 and with OnPoint since 2007, I have extensive knowledge in lending, underwriting, financial education and customer service. OnPoint Community Credit Union has been dedicated to making our members’ financial dreams a reality for over 80 years. Working together, we can further strengthen the mission we have for our community.
As someone who is passionate about financial education and community involvement, I enjoy volunteering for Financial Beginnings, teaching individuals how to play an active role in their financial well-being. I also volunteer as a youth basketball coach and am an elementary school parent board treasurer. I love traveling with my family and spending my free time outdoors, whether it’s camping, skiing, hiking or relaxing by a river on warm summer days.
After gaining a strong understanding of your goals and dreams, I will work with you to identify financial options as part of a plan structured to continually build toward achieving your success.
I believe in a goal oriented approach to financial planning that takes into account your unique situation no matter where you are in your financial journey. My mission is to help you reach your financial goals through a personal relationship, establishing strategies and continual education, and achieving success through knowledgeable financial advice.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from Texas A&M University. My goals and dreams have allowed me to work in direct support of NASA, build startup companies, and develop life-saving medical instrumentation. I hold securities licenses series 66 and 7, as well as my Oregon and Washington Life and Health insurance licenses.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children hiking the Pacific Northwest, traveling domestic and internationally, and taking part in just about any outdoor adventure.
I focus on getting to know you, your business and your specific needs in order to create a financial plan that helps achieve your goals.
With over 24 years in the financial industry, including 10 years in commercial lending, I have the broad base of experience that you need in this competitive environment. My accessibility, transparency, and strong communication skills dovetail nicely with the community-focused reputation of OnPoint Community Credit Union. I focus on Commercial Real Estate, Owner Occupied, and Investment Properties.
I’m a proud Oregonian, born and raised in Bend. I attended Willamette University in Salem, and through hard work and dedication, I graduated with honors and was recently inducted into the Willamette University Tennis Hall of Fame. I enjoy volunteering with the Oregon Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity on their Financial Qualification and Family Selection Committees. You will also often find me camping, skiing, and visiting Central Oregon with my wife, Jen, and our two sons, Rowan and Eli.
