Neil Vandehey

Mortgage Loan Officer

I have been in the mortgage industry for over 18 years and have worked for both large and small banks before finding my home here at OnPoint Community Credit Union.

I enjoy problem solving, finding solutions, and making the home buying process as pleasant and easy as possible with clear communication and guidance. A home purchase or refinance is a big deal, and I am happy to take as much time as needed to make sure that my members are pleased with the outcome.

As a lifelong Oregonian, I purchased my first home when I was 23 and have been actively involved in real estate investment and property management ever since. I do most home repairs, maintenance and projects myself. When not working, I’m with my wife and our two young daughters. We like to explore local farmers markets, restaurants, museums and fun activities here in Portland. On the weekend you might find us hiking Forest Park or up at our lake cabin in SW Washington.
