It takes local effort to realize global impact.
With the global threat of climate change, we are taking strides to empower our members and our organization to help build a more sustainable future for us all. OnPoint Green Horizons provide special rate discounts on electric or hybrid vehicles, as well as solar panels. Plus, this year we’re donating a total of $100,000 to four Oregon and Southwest Washington organizations on the front lines of protecting our local environment: SOLVE, The Nature Conservancy, Columbia Land Trust and School Garden Project of Lane County.
We’re also taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint with telecommuting programs, environmental education, employee volunteer opportunities and donations to environmentally-focused organizations. We know we have much work to do, but we are committed to a greener future.

Columbia Land Trust
Columbia Land Trust is a nonprofit dedicated to conserving and caring for vital lands and waters in the Columbia River region. Through science and community partnerships, they protect habitats, support wildlife, and ensure these landscapes endure.
the School Garden Project
School Garden Project of Lane County, founded in 2001, helps schools build gardens and offers resources, training, and programs. It promotes science learning, healthy choices, environmental stewardship, and student confidence through collaboration.
