Turn your change into savings
According to the Wall Street Journal, Americans throw away $68 million in loose change every year.1 While you might not have that much under your couch cushions right now, spare change can still add up—and we’ve made it easier than ever to put it to work.
In addition to the free coin-counting machines available at select branch locations, OnPoint Community Credit Union has partnered with Coinstar to give members access to over 10,000 participating Coinstar® kiosks nationwide, providing additional options for transferring spare change into your account.
- Transfer directly to your OnPoint account using your debit card—no vouchers needed.
- Reduced fee for OnPoint members (5% of the transferred amount; compared with the standard Coinstar coin to voucher fee.).
- No need to visit a branch.
Whether shopping, banking, or both, you’ll have the options you need for putting spare change to work while you’re on the go.
A partnership to count (coins) on
When you can’t make it to a local OnPoint branch, Coinstar offers convenience, value, and a modern solution, with kiosks conveniently located in many grocery stores, including Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons.
Clean up your loose coins and transfer them into your checking account while doing your regular shopping.
