Earned Income Tax Credit

Earned Income Tax Credit–Do you qualify?

Hundreds of thousands of Oregonians are eligible but don’t know it—and could be missing out on a tax credit of up to $6,935. If your family income was less than $59,187 and investment income was under $10,300, you may be able to get this refund.

What if I didn’t make much money last year – do I still need to file taxes?

Even if you’re not required to file taxes based on your income level, you may be able to get a refund on taxes you paid during the year or through credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit!
