KGW School Supply Drive—Supporting Students and Teachers
The start of a new school year is always exciting for students―meeting new teachers, reuniting with old friends, and exploring new classes. Although some students may face different hurdles than others, everyone needs sufficient school supplies in order to thrive. Access to a backpack, pencils, notebook paper, erasers, and glue sticks is an essential part of heading back to school―yet for many families, purchasing new school supplies can be a financial strain.
This summer marks the 19th year OnPoint has supported the KGW School Supply Drive. Through the help of our wonderful community and members in 2025, we helped provide school supplies to more than 40,000 students across Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Make your donation at your local OnPoint branch.
From August 1st through the 31st, you can bring school supplies and monetary donations for the KGW School Supply Drive to any of our 59 branches. You can also donate money online here. And your impact stays local―every donation stays in the community in which it is made.
A $25 donation sends a student back to school with the essential supplies they need, ready to learn. Want to maximize your donation? From August 1st – 7th, for every $1 donated at an OnPoint branch, we will contribute an additional $5 This means if you donate $25 during that week, our match will turn your donation into $150—providing supplies for up to six students.
Acceptable school supply contributions include backpacks, colored pencils, composition books, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, loose-leaf notebook paper, markers, pencils, and pens.
We believe in investing in our local youth and giving back to our community. The KGW School Supply Drive has collected enough supplies for more than 100,000 students over the years. With your help, we hope this year will make an even greater impact!
