This week’s employee spotlight is on Lucy Dufresne-Belmore, Assistant Branch Manager at the Clackamas Promenade Branch. Lucy was born and raised in Portland, and she loves to travel and the outdoors—in the winter, she snowboards every weekend, and in the summer, she goes out on the water. She’s the mom of a wild seven-year-old and has two dogs: a Puggle named Charlie (aka Potato) and a Pitbull named Bella.

Here’s what Lucy had to share about her life at OnPoint:

What were you doing before your current role?

I started as a Teller and then entered the Accelerated Platform Training program, which provides an excellent opportunity for employees to focus on gaining the new skills they require to advance in their careers here at OnPoint. After graduating from the program, I started as a Member Service Representative, progressed to Branch Operations Supervisor, and eventually advanced to the role I’m in today, Assistant Branch Manager.

I worked at the 205 Place Branch for almost six years before coming to the Clackamas Promenade Branch. I would like to give the Clackamas team a huge shout-out because they hired a new branch manager and assistant manager within a month and have handled all the changes amazingly.

What was your childhood nickname?

My grandfather called me “Lovebug” my whole life.

What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?

I love eating sweets and watching Selling Sunset and Selling OC on Netflix.

If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?

I would choose to travel anywhere in the blink of an eye so that I could go anywhere in the world for a weekend trip.

What’s the coolest experience you ever had?

Hiking a waterfall in Jamaica.
